I know Tassie well, having lived and worked in the north, on the west coast and in the south of our island and will deliver a bespoke event, so let’s work together.


My Background

  • In conjunction with  managing and operating JBCEM Tas, currently working in a part-time capacity with one of Tasmania’s 
  • foremost charity’s – Cancer Council Tasmania – in a statewide event management role, responsible for a range of fundraising 
  • events including gala dinners, breakfasts, lunches and gala balls.

  • Many years experience in training food and beverage students for TasTAFE in 
  • Launceston, on West Coast and in Hobart.

  • Conference and Events Manager for over 10 years (2006-2016) at one of Hobart’s leading and national award-winning conferencing venues, The Old Woolstore 
  • Apartment Hotel, Hobart.
  • During this time, enjoying great success, as Australia’s best Business Events Venue for 
  • three consecutive years. 
  • And a short stint  setting up and 
  • simultaneously managing the conference 
  • and events department at Hadley’s Orient Hotel, sister to The Old Woolstore.

  • Originally trained as a chef on King Island 
  • and in Hobart.

Community Engagement

An active member and current President of Women in Tourism & Hospitality Tasmania 

  • Joined Tasmanian Women’s Council in October 2020 on invitation by 
  • Minister Sarah Courtney MP.
  •  
  • Masters rower and committee member with Derwent Mercantile Collegiate 
  • Rowing Club.
